Born and raised at the equator, where it is always hot and humid with no chance of snow. Moved to Sydney, Australia where I met my husband. In 2004, we crossed the ocean to Des Moines and have called this place home ever since. Mom to a boy, a girl, and a fluffy little white dog.  An almost empty nester now that my youngest is a senior in high school.

I love to play tennis, play games, travel, and have completely annoyed my family with my love of photography.  Yes .... it is because they had to continuously be my subjects, so when I started taking pictures of others, my family was more than happy to share the spotlight.

I love taking pictures because it allows me to capture moments in time and preserve the memories forever.
